Public collective transport

We have been supporting the sector of public transport for 18 years, constantly enhancing competencies of our team. We have experience in rail, bus and urban transport. Our Clients include both public collective transport organisers and carriers. Having the ability to look at the market from different points of view, we are able to solve our Clients’ problems in a comprehensive manner.

We have unique expertise in regulations concerning compensation for the provision of public collective transport services. In this specialist area, we have managed to earn the trust of clients in the industry which we continually deepen by sharing with them our knowledge on the methods of calculation and audit of compensation during numerous training sessions and conferences. We are pioneers in the interpretation and application of the EU regulations and judicial decisions within a national context. We review solutions regarding investments and co-funding in the light of state aid regulations.

We support organisers in preparing and implementing operator selection procedures. We represent carriers interested in entering into a contract with the transport organiser.

We have extensive experience in drafting contracts for the provision of public collective transport services. Our priority in drafting contract is always to tailor them to individual needs and potential of our Clients.

Our specialists provide support in the procedure of drawing up transport plans and advise on the process of updating them. We review draft transport plans for their conformity with the applicable provisions of law.

Our Law Firm assists Clients with finding legally optimum tariff solutions, including those referring to integrated and agglomeration tickets. Having an extended team of specialists at our disposal, we are able to take all areas of law into consideration in our analyses, in particular tax law as well as consumer and competition protection law.

We prepare our Clients for changes in the provisions of law. Our specialists carry out comprehensive conceptual analyses that allow our Clients to adapt their organisations and procedures in advance to new regulations.

We assist carriers in obtaining conditions most convenient to them with regard to the access to transport infrastructure (stops, stations, railway lines), with particular focus on the issue of non discriminatory treatment of carriers.

Our Clients are offered tried and tested legal solutions regarding the purchase of fleet and rolling stock as well as the settlement of their maintenance costs.

We audit the correctness of procedures used by our Clients to provide services to passengers, in particular relating to the handling of complaints and payment of damages.
