We would like to invite you to a meeting on changes to Water Law. The amended Water Law provisions will enter into force from the beginning of 2018. However, transitional provisions will remain valid till the end of 2020, thus giving entrepreneurs an opportunity to optimise fees for water.

According to the new regulations, a fee for water services will include a fixed fee and a variable fee depending on the amount of water consumed or waste water discharged. The measurement will be taken using devices installed or approved by Wody Polskie (Polish Waters). However, by now it is clear that it will not be possible to measure the consumed water till the end of 2020. As a result, entrepreneurs will only pay the cost of the fixed fee determined on the basis of the declared water consumption.
