Signing a contract for the sale of heat for the City of Konin
September 9, 2019We are glad to inform that a ceremony of signing a long-term contract for the sale of heat for the City of Konin between Miejskie Przedsiębiorstwo Energetyki Cieplnej-Konin and Zespół Elektrowni Pątnów-Adamów-Konin took place on Friday, 6 September 2019, in Konin in the presence of Mr Piotr Korytkowski, Mayor of the City and other representatives of the city authorities, Mr Stanisław Jarecki, President of the Management Board of MPEC-Konin and all members of the Management Board of ZE PAK. As a result of the contract signed, the City of Konin will be one of the few Polish cities in which heat will be generated almost entirely from renewable energy sources (RES).
Since Piszcz and Partners Law Firm acted as a legal adviser of MPEC-Konin in the process of selection of the heat supplier, the ceremony was also attended by Managing Partners of our Law Firm, namely Marcin Piszcz, counsellor at law and Piotr Liberski, counsellor at law.
