Patryk Matuszak

Attorney at Law trainee at the Regional Bar Association in Poznań. Graduate of the Faculty of Law and Administration of the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań.

He began his professional practice during studies, while cooperating with Poznań law firms. He has been with Piszcz and Partners Law Firm since February 2018.

In the Law Firm he handles mainly issues related to various aspects of energy law, in particular provides day‑to‑day services to companies in the power and gas sectors. He has also experience in administrative procedures carried out before the President of the Energy Regulatory Office (URE) and other public administration bodies.

Apart from the aforementioned energy law, his interests focus on administrative law issues, and in particular on investment and construction process, environmental protection law and procedural administrative law.

  • drawing up drafts of documents regarding business activities in the sector of electricity and natural gas sales and distribution, including connection, sales and distribution agreements as well as comprehensive agreements;
  • advising on current issues related to the right to freely select the supplier (TPA) on the electricity market;
  • drafting documentation related to tariff proceedings and to the obtaining of licences;
  • supporting the establishment and carrying out of business activities related to RES installations (in particular the investment and construction process, power purchase agreements /PPA/, settlement of certificates);
  • supporting Clients in proceedings before the President of the Energy Regulatory Office (URE) concerning the revocation of a licence or the imposition of a financial penalty on an energy company;
  • drawing up drafts of Distribution Network Codes of the DSO for several gas and electricity providers;
  • participating in public consultations on draft legal acts in the field of broadly understood energy law.
