Joanna Staniewicz

Attorney at law. Member of the Regional Bar Association in Wrocław. Graduate of the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Wrocław.

She started practicing in 1997 as a counsellor at law in commercial law companies. Starting from 2000, she was employed in the section of public finance, originally as a head of the organisational and legal department and subsequently as a counsellor at law. She cooperated with the Dolnośląska Chamber of Commerce on the implementation of projects co-financed by the European Union. Joanna Staniewicz has been with Piszcz and Partners Law Firm since November 2006.

She specialises in civil and administrative law, in particular in labour law and public procurement law. She has extensive experience in advising employers on the entering into and termination of employment relationships, including representation before common courts. On a number of occasions, she participated in drafting of and negotiations on internal labour law acts.

She also advised on the application of the provisions of public procurement law, both by contracting authorities and contractors. She has extensive practical experience in preparing and conducting public contract award procedures. She represents Clients before the National Chamber of Appeal (KIO).
